SWING, Lindy & Charleston

Sundays, May 4 and 18; 8 - 9:15 p.m.

Intermediate class emphasizing some great moves in the country’s hottest dance.

Some previous swing experience helpful.

You do not have to bring a partner.

Instruction by Tom Masterson.

LOCATION: Danceophile Studio, 250 31^st Street (between Moorhead and Ash streets in Boulder: from Baseline and 27^th, go south on 27^th about 50 yards, then turn left onto Moorhead, go 4 blocks, turn right onto 31^st. #250 is ten buildings from the corner, a 2-story blue house on the left-hand side with lots of huge windows and a dance studio upstairs.)

Cost: $10/person each evening if we have >8 dancers, $12/ if less.

            Fun folk dances from around the world are taught and danced each Tuesday evening outside under the stars. There is beginning level teaching from 7:00 to 8:00; no partner or experience needed. Teaching is by Tom Masterson and many other impressive teachers from around the world. Dancing continues till 10:00. Cost is FREE! A wonderful way to learn great dances, experience our ethnic and cultural roots, meet lots of new friends, and get into shape, all at the same time!
